Getting To Rome
Rome is an extremely accessible city. Depending on where you are arriving from you might want to take a plane, a train, or possibly a bus.
Plane
If you are flying to Rome from the US you will be flying into Leonardo Da Vinci - Fiumicino Airport. This is the main airport in Rome and services all major airlines as well as budget airline Vueling, If you are arriving by Ryanair or Easyjet, you will arrive at Ciampino, a smaller airport about 45 minutes from the city centre.

Airport Shuttle Service
When you fly into any city, finding a way to the city centre can be a challenge. Luckily, in Rome (and some other cities in Europe) there is a company called Terravision. This company will take you from the airport to Termini (the main train station) for about 5-8 € each way. There are also discounts if you do roundtrip. You can purchase tickets online or at the airport or train station.

Bus
While I have not actually traveled by bus in Italy, I did come across some websites that might help you if you decide to travel by bus. If you have information about traveling by bus or any other means, please share them with your fellow travelers on the ESG Forum.
